DIET Admission Notice

1. All applicants are required to apply either online or offline according to their choice in the prescribed Application form. Applicants should submit the completely fill in the application form on the institute website or offline to the office of concerned DIET/HTTI during office hours. All applicants are advice to read the prospectus available on the Website for further details also.

2. The candidate should be in possession of the following certificates on the closing date for received of application form:

   1. Should have passed 10 + 2 level offering Hindi as elective or M.I.L. OR 10+2 Examination and Kovid (or equivalent) Examination with at least 50% marks for general candidates while 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
   2. Up-to-date SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Sports certificate for candidates seeking reservation/benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Sports category.
    

3. The last date of received of application form (both offline and online): On or before 26th September 2026 (4:30p.m.)

4. Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.700/- for General, OBC and Sports Persons and Rs.650/- for SC & ST. No fee is payable for PWD candidates, application forms can be avail by producing their relevant certificate at the office counter.

   1. Payment for offline mode should be made by cash in the Cash counter of the DIET/ HTTI office.
   2. Payment for online mode should be through Credit card/ Debit card or Net-banking.

5. The reservation for applicants from SC, ST, OBC, Sports Persons and PWD will be applicable as per State Government norms.

6. Entrance Examination Center: Candidates may select the DIET Institute as Entrance Examination Center at the DIET Institute where he/she had applied. If he/she doesn't want to select the DIET Institute where he/she has applied for admission as the Entrance Examination Center, Candidates applied at DIET Chandel/Churachandpur/ Senapati/ Tamei/ Ukhrul can select DIET, Imphal West Center. Again, Candidates applied admission at DIET Imphal-east/ Imphal West/ Kakching/ Moirang can select entrance exam Center at DIET Churachandpur Center.

7. Documents to be submitted at the time of form submission (to be attested by a Gazetted officer):

   1. Class X certificate and mark sheet.
   2. Class XII certificate and mark sheet.
   3. Parichay/Prabodh (or equivalent) certificate and mark sheet.
   4. Kovid/Visharat (or equivalent) certificate and mark sheet.
   5. Aadhar Card.
   6. ST/SC/OBC/PWD/Sport certificate (if applicable).

   Note: Attestation is not required for scanned copies of original documents. Gazetted Officer attestation is required for photocopies.
    

8. Selection procedure: Admission to the 1st year D.El.Ed. (Hindi) courses for the academic session 2026-28 will be based on the merit of the Admission Entrance Test.

9. A candidate found to be furnishing false information at the time of form submission or suppressing information, violating instructions, etc. is liable to be disqualified and may attract other applicable legal provisions.

10. In case of any dispute or ambiguity during the admission process, the decision of the admission committee shall be final.
